Floral Fever

The RHS Chelsea Flower Show is one of the pinnacles of the British event calendar. The horticultural world's answer to fashion week, the show was in full bloom, taking our inspo far beyond the white picket fences and perfectly trimmed hedges of the nation's gardens. With a wealth of beautiful botanicals, blooms and green-fingered marvels to inspire our seasonal wardrobe, is there anywhere better to spy the best springtime florals?

The sun is shining and the blooms have come out to play, and this year so has team Pranella. This month it’s all about getting inspired by the great and the good of the gardening world, and inspired by this quintessentially British horticultural event we were.

The plant-packed Great Pavilion created a backdrop of inspo for our upcoming Spring Summer 20 collection of beachwear and accessories. The rows of beautiful blooms made our hearts flutter so expect next season to be a perfect mix of flattering femininity and striking sophistication. Think lightweight and breathable fabrics, flowing kaftans and delicate dresses with a graceful nod to these seasonal florals. 

From the purple agapanthus to the eye-catching ficinia comes a vibrant colour palette, from whimsical pastel shades offering a seamless style to bright neons for stand out pieces. SS20 promises a subtle and refined floral approach, but with a definite hint of flower power.
