SS20 Behind the Scenes
We know you love a peek behind the scenes of our seasonal photoshoots. And since we’ve just launched our brand new collection within the last few days (yay!) we thought we’d give you a look into what happened at our Spring Summer ’20 shoot! Read on to discover more about our design inspiration and what went on during shoot week…
For
our upcoming 2020 collection we take inspiration from the tangerine-tinged
island of Mexico. From its bewitching beaches to awe-inspiring ancient ruins,
its beauty and twilight hour hues inspire this effortless and vibrant beach
ready collection. Designed using lightweight and breathable globally-sourced
materials, flowing kaftans and delicate dresses complete the ultimate vacation
wardrobe perfect for sun-drenched days and balmy nights. From stylish florals
to bold abstract prints with a dash of animal into the assemblage, the
collection celebrates the true Mexican spirit.
Trend
forecasting is a huge part of what we do and we’re excited to be including more
pieces that pick up on the current print trend to tell a vibrant SS20 story.
The Acapulco collection is a particular favourite and one that channels the
natural spirit of Mexico’s iconic palette with captivating cobalts, neon pinks
and tomato reds taking centre stage. The result is a collection that's
ultra-feminine with pops of bucolic colour and a rustic-luxe edge.
ON LOCATION
Our
shoot took place at the super cool Mayfield studios with our gorgeous model
Emma. This day is always busy and filled with tonnes of laughter, great beats
and coffee on tap. The space is beautiful and super cool with so many great
backdrops to shoot against. Up at the crisp hour of 6am to get a head start
at the studio (and the first of many coffee runs) it was time to get the shoot
started from sorting garments to hair and make-up. And as always, it was such
fun shooting with the team and creating more memories.
Coffee fuelled and surrounded by a
great team, we’re pleased to say ‘that's a wrap’. We hope you enjoy exploring
